Classroom 10# is a recording of an empty classroom in the abandoned school Ciudad de los Muchachos that has been replayed inside the same space and re-recorded a total of ten times . Each time the track is replayed and re-recorded the hidden resonances and overtones inside the room are naturally accentuated, gradually masking the original ‘silence’ and highlighting the hidden sonic architecture of the space.

The piece explores ideas of resonance inspired by Alvin Lucier’s I Am Sitting In A Room.

Over the years rubbish has accumulated in the school. In ´Flotsum and Jetsum´ some of this refuse is suspended in the empty pool. The installation presents a portrait of the site since the school was closed, different objects providing a glimpse of the recent past.
